12 Historical Facts About the Resurrection
One of the top experts on Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection is Dr. Gary Habermas. He doubted God for 10 years and searched for evidence to see if there was evidence for Jesus’ resurrection.
Below are 12 historical facts, which he calls “The Minimal Facts.” These are facts that even critical non believing experts in their field agree to. When I say experts I mean historians, theologians, philosophers, etc.
These facts can be helpful when you are opposed by people who claim Jesus was a myth or a recycled story from the Persian god, Mithrus. Also, these facts are corroborated by evidence and accepted by scholars.
